"Undercover Operative 'One Million Percent Positive' Attacks Could Have Been Prevented"

On the eve of the eight year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, an FBI informant who infiltrated alleged terrorist cells in the U.S. tells ABC News the FBI missed a chance to stop the al Qaeda plot because they focused more on undercover stings than on the man who would later become known as 9/11 ringleader Mohammed Atta.

Assaad, who posed as "Mohammed" – a personal representative of Osama bin Laden, says he's a "million percent positive" the 9/11 attacks could have been stopped if the FBI had gone after Atta and Shukrujumah. But because Atta and his men were suspicious of the FBI undercover operative, and secretive, Assaad says his FBI agent handlers sent him after the easier target – two wannabe terrorists whose cases were easy to crack and who were both eventually convicted and sent to prison.

"I was right, I was a hundred percent right," Assaad says of his suspicions. He says that when he learned that Atta was one of the 9/11 hijackers, when the FBI asked if he could identify any of the attackers, he was "very upset, angry" and cried.

    It is tragic and frustrating,
but it must always be about the same,
Pearl harbor or 911 or the next atrocity:
    - after the fact you find there were a hundred
    missed clues.

This just sickens me that the FBI knew about these people beforehand and decided it wasn't important enough to follow through, on TIPS from their own FBI informer!!!!!

Attack could have been prevented if CIA and Mosad did not plant the bombs but with the help of Bush and Cheney they let the bombs go off and the building collapsed and 2700 innocent people died and the blame goes to Al Qaeda so that Iraq and Afghanistan could be invaded to protect the American economy. Bush is a megalomaniac his colleagues are criminals and they introduced international thuggery by changing regimes and invading. The result is the American people are paying for it now and the world is struggling.

Frankly both the FBI and the CIA are dysfunctional because they have been meddled with too much by politicians - to cover up treason (e.g. Wolfowitz, Feith, and other zioncons caught by the FBI already in the 1970s-1980s, but never tried because of political pressure), corruption (e.g. Hastert, Blunt, Burton, Lantos, .... - see below), or for propaganda purposes (e.g. producing state propaganda for corrupt wars like Bush/Cheney).

FBI Whistleblower: Hastert, Burton, Blunt, Other Members of Congress \'Bribed, Blackmailed\'

It has now been over a week since the video tape and transcript from the remarkable 8/8/09 deposition of former FBI translator-turned-whistleblower Sibel Edmonds was publicly released. Previously, the Bush Administration invoked the so-called "state secrets privilege" in order to gag Edmonds, in attempting to keep such information from becoming public.

The under-oath, detailed allegations include bribery, blackmail, espionage and infiltration of the U.S. government of, and by current and former members of the U.S. Congress, high-ranking State and Defense Department officials and agents of the government of Turkey. The broad criminal conspiracy is said to have resulted in, among other things, the sale of nuclear weapons technology to black market interests including Pakistan, Iran, North Korea, Libya and others.

Even as many of these allegations had been previously corroborated to varying extents, by a number of official government reports, documents and independent media outlets (largely overseas), not a single major mainstream media outlet in the U.S. has picked up on Edmonds' startling claims since her deposition has been made fully available.

...In this first break-down article, we'll look at the answers given by Edmonds during her deposition in regard to bribery and blackmail of current and former members of the U.S. Congress, including....

Agent: FBI Could Have Prevented 9-11

          Wes Vernon, NewsMax.com
          Friday, May 31, 2002

WASHINGTON – A veteran FBI agent Thursday charged that corruption inside the bureau derailed investigations that could have averted the terrorist attacks on America on Sept. 11. His lawyers said the FBI had evidence that the World Trade Center was a possible terrorist target.

In a memo written 91 days before Sept. 11, Special Agent Robert G. Wright Jr. warned that Americans would die as a result of the FBI's failure to investigate terrorists living in this country.

Wright went public at a press conference even though FBI Director Robert Mueller ordered him to stay in Chicago and threatened him with criminal prosecution if he spoke publicly about the agency's wrongdoing.

"The FBI is not protecting the American people," declared Wright at a conference sponsored by his attorneys at the public interest law firm Judicial Watch.

Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman termed Mueller’s comments Wednesday, that open criticism of him and other top FBI brass was welcome, were nothing more than "politically convenient statements."

            'They Got Caught'

"They said that because they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar," declared Klayman, referring to a memo written by FBI legal counsel Coleen Rowley. She alleged in a memo that the FBI could have prevented the 9-11 attacks and that Mueller, though new to the job, has covered up for senior FBI officials.

Klayman said Mueller’s reorganization plan announced this week was nothing more than "icing over a stale cake."

Wright produced a sworn statement relating to an FBI agent who refused to record a telephone conversation during the meeting with a suspect in an FBI criminal investigation related to terrorism.

Muslim Agent 'Does Not Record Another Muslim'!

The agent in question is quoted in two sworn statements, one by Wright and the other by retired agent Barry Carmody, as refusing to record the conversation because "a Muslim does not record another Muslim."

Guess what the Bush administration did to that agent who refused to permit the recording of a Muslim terrorist?
              Waterboarded him?

              NOPE
They promoted him and sent him to Saudi Arabia as the top agent there.
