At least seven people have been killed and as many as 20 wounded in a shooting spree at a Texas military base by what officials believe was possibly carried out by two and possibly three gunmen.

One gunman is reported to be in custody and a search is for at lease one more shooter who may have barricaded himself inside the base, officials said.
There are conflicting reports as to whether a third suspect was involved. The shooters were reported to be wearing Army uniforms.-

I don't think we should be particularly surprised by this. Our "oligarch class" has been working for some time to create an uneducated permanent underclass in America - whose only "alternatives" in life are to become military cannon fodder for oligarch imperialism. For the past 8 years there has been a constant undercurrent of stories about "gang members", "end-timer religious fanatics", "druggies" ..... ending up in our military. By now many of them are realizing that they are cannon fodder for "power and prestige" projects of our "elite" class in places like Iraq and Afghanistan that have little or nothing to do with "defense" of America. They are also increasingly aware how easily they are simply thrown away. Wouldn't be too surprising to start seeing the same kind of "military rebellion" that we have seen previously in our military throughout our history almost every time the oligarchs got out of control in our society.

The problem is with the secret artificial intelligence computer that is running the country's economy, politics, and the war itself. TRUTH IS VERY IMPORTANT, however, the computer's initial programming rules were wrong and lies, and after it was unleashed, it went on it's own, and is coming to misleading conclusions. For example, someone who believes in any kind religion, can not be a medical doctor, especially a psychiatrist, because religion is considered scientifically as a delusion, a mental illness. The computer should have screened out any doctor that sincerely believes in supernatural things, like god, virgin birth, Adam and Eve etc. The computer did not screen them out because of faulty thinking and reasoning.

Also, there is another possibility, no doctor believes any more in creationist theories, except, if he is really operating with a stolen identity, or, he is under hypnosis of the kind seen in the movie "Telephone". It's not only the Soviets who practiced such methods, but the CIA, Israel, was, and probably is practicing it nowadays too.
One of the basics of security is to screen out such "unstable people", but who is the one that can detect them ? Who has the qualifications for such, if this is such a big secret that it is not even taught in medical schools ?
I have only one advice to everyone, keep away from doctors that claim to be religious, go to mosques, Jewish temples, or Christian church. Period.-

Most of the unstable people are the leaders of US and Israeli because they wield too much power and these people are corrupt and supported by the radical Right Wing media and other organizations.BTW deeply religious people are not what you consider them to be but people who don't believe in God are the mentally retarded ones because they believe that don't have to account on the Day of Judgment or they have afterlife when they are dead. Athiesm is irrational and illogical and for your information no creationist believe the theories of the Atheists and Evolutionists.

As for the shooter, I don't think its fair to blame it on his Muslim heritage or practice. From whats been revealed about him it seems he was more concerned about being deployed. He didn't want to go over seas, was expecting Obama to reduce troops, not increase, and when he got the news that he was being deployed he snapped. But at least he survived, because now we get to execute him. -

Well, if you can get the information as to why he did it and then publish the truth without distorting that will help a lot. But I won't be surprised that it will be the same old news to support war on terror. I am sure he must have did it because his family or relative or friends or his people must have been killed by the American drone attack.

I'm glad he wasn't killed, because now it just might be possible to find out WHY this happened. So often, we are left to wonder why and never really know for sure. In this case, we might actually LEARN something about this.

Was he just a nut?
Was this planned or spur of the moment?
Was this an "attack against America" or an "attack against his co-workers?"
Does the fact that he's a Muslim have anything to do with his actions?
What exactly triggered the event?
Did his pending deployment have any influence on his actions?
Why, when he first came to the attention of authorities six months ago, wasn't something done to prevent this tragedy?
So many questions.....maybe this time we'll actually get some of the answers.-

The thing is, we can't go around accusing people out of the blue of doing things against America, but in this case he was on the radar for ranting in favor of suicide bombers as some sort of heroes akin to soldiers throwing themselves on a grenade to save their comrades. These rants are enough to at least INVESTIGATE him. Not because he's Muslim. Not because anyone "thinks" he may do something bad. But because he was screaming from the mountaintops that he idolized suicide bombers at a time when suicide bombers were attacking Americans.
I think your rant about political correctness is way off base because there was CAUSE for an investigation. Frankly, it sounds like someone dropped the ball on this one, and I hope they get to the bottom of it.

Shooter killed, two apprehended at Fort Hood: commander
Up to three gunmen who opened fire Thursday on a US military base, killing 11 people and wounding 31 others, were all American soldiers, the Fort Hood commander said.
"A shooter opened fire. That person was killed. At this time, we are looking at 12 dead and 31 wounded. They are dispersed among the local hospitals in this area in Texas," said Lieutenant General Bob Cone.
The shooter was counted among the 12 dead.
"The shooter was killed. He was a soldier. We since then have apprehended two additional soldiers who are suspects, and I would go into the point that there were eyewitness accounts that there may have been more than one shooter."
