Memo to Congress: On Health Care Vote You Must Choose Between Insurance Companies and Average Americans »
Posted By Tumultuous 2 weeks, 3 days ago in Political OpinionWhen you cast your vote this weekend on the historic health care reform bill, you will be faced with a simple, clear choice: cast a vote for average Americans, or for health insurance companies.
The stark clarity of the choice is obvious to most Americans, but it has not yet come into focus for some of your colleagues. Yesterday I spoke with several Democratic Members who professed to still be studying the "details" of the bill and pondering their decision.
The health care reform measures have been debated and discussed in Congressional Committees, articles and columns, town meetings, and millions of discussions throughout America for six months. Time for dithering is over. Now -- in the words of the old union anthem -- Members of Congress have to decide which side they're on.

Hopefully those in congress who care about their fellow man will vote to pass this legislation. The rabid right wingers are just hate filled idiots who will never vote for anything the dems or a black president wants so we won't even worry about their tiny numbers that couldn't sway an election anyway!

You really don't care about Americans do you? You think a system that costs more than any other in the world, but delivers a product so shoddy that 37 other countries do better is pretty good. You are unthinking, unfeeling corporate shills.

I say go ahead and vote for this American Killing Bill, which actually hasn't been written yet, and remember we are keeping tabs on the Yeah and Nay Votes. So, go ahead, give up your Political Careers with a Yeah Vote.
If you vote to pass it then you are passing your Political career right down the drain. You'll end up with the very same Health Care Plan you Voted For.
Go Ahead, Make Our Day. Vengeance say we as the Voters. The Real American-

Your limited intellect still does not grasp the idiocy of your statement and the significance of Miklkit's statement.
We democrats want America to be FIRST in quality of health care, universality of coverage, and equality of provision of such care. We do not accept inequality and injustices when it comes to a basic right like health care. We love America too much to ignore its problems.
You, it seems, choose to ignore problems and want things to remain in status quo. You choose to accept second rate coverage, second rate quality results. You want America to wallow in mediocrity and allow citizens to die unnecessarily.
You are the one who hates America. You are the one damaging America. You are the one who chooses party propaganda over medical necessity.
You talk of vengeance and "American Killing Bill."
BAH! You are the selfish American. You are the ugly American. You are the stupid American.
You are NOT the "Real American." -

My Fellow American: I hate to classify you as such but at least I respect your attempt at being one. I'm sorry for you sippin-on-pills, but you must not be able to read, reason, or pass a elementary coloring book contest. This is not real Health Care that is being pushed by your Communistic Buddies it is Government control. You don't really think you or your family will benefit by this passing do you?

Party Propaganda, Me? Hah! you must be living in Disney World.
You my friend have all but digested this garbage they have been feeding the American people over the last decade. Tell me, have you gotten your Swine Flu shot yet? That is a lot more simpler than what Government Health Care will amount too in the coming months. Has anyone you know gotten the Flu Shot. Well, visit your local prison. I bet they got theirs. I bet you Congressmen got theirs. Did your Doctor get his?
Improving Health Care is not a matter of the Health Care itself but rather the Cost of Health Care and that can easily be accomplished by many of the Programs that have been presented and have been rejected by your (YOUR) Party. We don't need Government Control rather Less Government Control. Can't expect someone as simple as you to understand that. The Real American -

I served my time in Vietnam, unlike Tancredo, Limbaugh, and baby Bush. I have earned the right to live here and also have the desire to make this a better place to live for me and my family. We already have government run health care. When the health care representatives write the bills that are passed by Congress, they are acting as our defacto government. Look at Medicare part D. This is a marriage of government and corporations. That is called Fascism buddy. That is why we need this health care bill.

Can you show me any language in any healthcare bill that gives jail time to people who don't buy insurance?
Reply
No. You can't. You're not bright enough to know how to use Google, and even if you were, you wouldn't find that language. It doesn't exist. -
