A lame candidate in VA ran the worst campaign in VA history - even worse than McCain / Palin - lost to a man who, even tho I'm NOT a supporter, ran a great campaign & outspent the Dem by almost 10-1, if I heard correctly on the radio.
& a crook in NJ who was hated by both Reps AND Dems lost as expected.
So tell me. What about the NY race that went Dem for the 1st time in 159 years? Anything there? Tell you anything about how people feel about your extremist candidates? -

--Hehehe...But, oddly, you don't seem to any problem trumpeting con leaning Rasmussen poll results as if they are the gospel. Why is that, pc? ;-P
"that must be why Tuesday turned out for you the way it did....."
--But didn't the GOP self-destruct (due to infighting) in NY which caused the party to lose in a solidly conservative district you've held for decades? I think it did. So, how did that happen when mere weeks ago the election was yours to lose? Here's a hint: you maniacal tea-baggers are the gift that keeps on giving. Keep up the good work. ;-P

The best thing about this party of thieves, sexual deviants, and liars is they are doing it to themselves..They can spreasd their lies and fear and all we have to do is bring up their record and their actions and let America decide for itself who it wants to lead...Like shooting ducks in that proverbial barrel and the best part is they fill the barrel for us.

Neither is “yes we can” but that won and now attacking Obama is winning.

issues, facts and doing what is right are completely irrelevant to the gop now

they're holding onto too much bitterness from the bush years and failing so badly
they have nothing left but to attack obama, the one who they are afraid will succeed (the fox news 'savior' syndrome) and make them look even worse

What I'm reading is that both parties are being told that they are not acceptable.
That neither party is doing what is expected of them !!!
Now, I'm more of a moderate than liberal or conservative. But I'm really fascinated by all the hoopla over their approval ratings in congress which are dismal at best and pathetic in reality.
I think neither party has room to be smug. -

I've heard plenty about what Republicans Oppose and Hate.I never hear about what they have to offer that sounds better.I saw Republican Whip Eric Cantor at a Town Hall tell a sick women to sell all her possesions and give all the money to an insurance company. He said this while keeping a straight face.Gee,I wonder where the disconnect is?I also think the years 2001 to 2009 have shown people what Republican leadership has to offer.

The GOP has lost their soul, their conscience, their integrity and their concern for anyone but themselves. Knowing the the GOP is pressuring all the represenatives in the House regardless of their real desire to continue to say NO, NO, NO. Not to work with Democrats for the best for Americans. Just NO, NO, NO. That have betrayed and failed us.

Good to see ole Dan Rather back - we told you everyone would forget the "mistakes" you made (like the lousey counterfiting job of military letters and memos). You even still sound like your old self. Dan your party really needs you so start rolling out those "new" documents and other "stuff". Again, welcome back!
